The ox-tongue-shaped Yilan Biscuit is a local pastry of Yilan and the thinnest biscuit in the world. Merely 0.1 cm in thickness, it is as light as a piece of paper and pervious to light.

It is purely hand-baked and happens to be so crispy and delicious that no one will be able to keep his/her hands off these biscuits after the first bite.

Besides its marvelous taste, special ingredients have been added to its recipe to make it a healthy snack as well.

Don't worry guys, Yilan Biscuit is not made from the tongue of an ox and has nothing to do with the animal, either.

The biscuit was carefully developed by the pastry expert Liu Tenghui（劉鐙徽） has also been certified by the Belgian flavor award in 2020. You can check them out at the link below for more info.
